AUUG2007 Call For Papers
This year's theme is simply "Quality".
Within this broad area, AUUG invites proposals for papers and tutorials on topics not limited to:
- content management and multimedia
- innovative trends in computer languages and software development
- networking protocols, architecture and infrastructure
- open source projects
- performance measurement and management
- security and privacy
- standards-based computing
- operating system internals
- application management and deployment
- technology-driven business enhancement
- cost effective operation of IT infrastructure
- cutting edge techniques in information management
- technicals aspects of Unix, Linux and BSD variants
- managing distributed networks
- system and application monitoring
- security in the enterprise
- networking in the enterprise
- business experience and case studies
- cluster computing
Presentations may be given as tutorials, technical papers or management studies. Technical papers are designed for those who need in-depth knowledge, whereas management studies present case studies of real-life experiences in the conference's fields of interest.
Panel sessions will also be timetabled in the conference. Speakers are encouraged to participate and indeed, to suggest topics.
Tutorials, which may be of either a technical or management orientation, provide a more thorough presentation, of either a half-day or full-day duration.
Speaker Incentives
Speakers receive complimentary registration on the day of their presentation. Speakers who submit a paper for publication in the conference proceedings (by the due date), as well as tutorial presenters, receive complimentary registration for the full conference.
Submission Guidelines
Intending speakers should submit an abstract of at least a few paragraphs and a brief biography, clearly indicating their preferred presentation format.
